Ridgistorm-XL Jointing Frames

The Ridgistorm-XL Jointing Frame is a multi-use tool for assisting the jointing of Ridgistorm-XL ring sealed pipes in sizes 750-1800mm. They assist with the safe jointing of pipes by providing a flat surface for on-site construction machinery to apply a central force to push against, eliminating any damage to the end of the pipes and keeping the joining pipe square to the joint. They are constructed from steel with four built in lifting points for safe handling on-site.

Guidance

• The Jointing Frame should be offered up to the end of the pipe, keeping the frame as central as possible
• Appropriate pressure should be smoothly applied to the central pad in order to push the Jointing Frame and pipe forward
• Care should be taken to ensure than the pipe and Jointing Frame are clear from any impedance or obstruction that could cause the frame to be overloaded
• Once the Jointing Frame has been used it should be stored in a safe and dry environment to avoid damage and corrosion
