Requiring an environmentally friendly solution, Stewarts Plumbing chose to install Polypipe’s popular OverlayTM Underfloor Heating System, renowned for its green credentials, throughout the offices. Polypipe’s underfloor heating systems circulate warm water through a network of pipes to provide an even warmth throughout a room. The water is heated to a lower temperature than traditional boiler fed central heating systems and so can reduce running costs, as well as providing environmental benefits.
The OverlayTM system is the perfect solution for retrospective installations and renovations as it is installed over the existing floor and is only 18mm in depth, allowing underfloor heating to be installed where other underfloor heating systems would require expensive excavation or for the floor to be raised to an unacceptable level.
