Terrain FUZE HDPE Drainage System may be used to convey liquids with a maximum temperature of 80 degrees when subjected to continuous flow. Intermittent discharges of up to 95 Degrees Celsius may occur provided they are of less than two minutes duration. For further information please see our Terrain FUZE HDPE Technical Manual.

Terrain PVC Soil and Waste Drainage Systems may be used to convey liquids with a maximum temperature of 76 degrees when subjected to continuous flow. Intermittent discharges of up to 100 degrees Celsius may occur provided they are of less than two minutes duration. For further information see our Above Ground Technical Manual.

Our Terrain Solvent Weld Soil 100 and Push-fit Soil 100P drainage systems are made from unplasticised Polyvinyl Chloride (uPVC or PVC-u). To see the range click here

For pipe sizes up to 63mm there should be an expansion coupling every 5m. We would suggest one every floor on a vertical stack. For pipe sizes above 63mm, so 75mm and above an expansion coupling should be installed every 2m. However, any change in direction where the maximum distance between fixed points exceeds 1m you should install an expansion coupling.

For pipe sizes from 82-160mm, there should be an expansion coupling every 4m . We would suggest one every floor on a vertical stack. For pipe sizes 32-50mm the maximum distance is 2m. However, any change in direction where the maximum distance between fixed points exceeds 1m you should install an expansion coupling.
