Low Sound Transfer Acoustic Solutions
Polypipe underfloor heating systems allow people to enjoy the warmth of underfloor heating, whilst still meeting the acoustic performance levels required in many developments.
We offer two solutions for acoustic applications. For screeded, level floors we recommend the Overlay Lite 15 solution which is utilised with cement backer boards. This allows for a low profile underfloor heating solution to be installed.
Our second system, the EDb cradle and baton solution, allows for the removal of a screed by acting as a leveller and providing a floating underfloor heating solution. The intrinsic acoustic properties of this system prevents noise transfer through the floor, making it ideal for use in high rise residential applications.
