Polypipe donate the perfect plumbing solution for the Burton Street Foundation

Polypipe has generously donated a range of PolyPlumb and PolyFit products to The Burton Street Foundation for the refurbishment of their community centre based in Sheffield.

Main contractor, Kier Sheffield, fitted Polypipe’s popular PolyFit and PolyPlumb products at Burton Street to upgrade their current piping systems.

Based in the heart of Sheffield, the Burton Street Foundation is a non-profit community centre that provides support for adults and children with learning difficulties. Featuring beautiful Victorian architecture, Burton Street
is home to over 50 charities, businesses and community organisations.

The site has a range of leisure and recreational venues including a café, gym, sports hall, conference rooms, bars and even a recording studio. Over the past two years, the Burton Street Foundation has invested over £2 million to refurbish and upgrade their buildings.

Polypipe offer a wide range of fit-for-purpose plumbing and heating products, which are available to purchase nationwide through builders and plumbers merchants.

Robust and reliable, Polypipe’s PolyPlumb fittings are suitable for most plumbing and heating installations.

Featuring a high performance stainless steel grab ring, PolyPlumb ensures superb joint integrity. It comes in classic grey and is the permanent push-fit product of choice for the professional installer. Kier Sheffield chose to match PolyPlumb with Polypipe’s PolyFit range, which is white for use in surface mounted installations. PolyFit is a hand demountable push-fit plumbing system that offers flexibility and adjustability to installers throughout the fitting process.

Adam Pearson, Plastic Plumbing Product Manager at Polypipe, says:
“The Burton Street Foundation is a fantastic example of how plastic plumbing can be used to upgrade an existing plumbing and heating system. In using Polypipe, Kier Sheffield were able to use a mixture of PolyPlumb and PolyFit to tailor their service to the job at hand”
