Preventing debris ingress with bespoke design

The progress of silt and other debris through SUDS systems can be managed and prevented with silt traps. Located between attenuation systems and the outflow paths to the watercourses, these purpose designed sinks serve to isolate heavier particles such as silt, grit and organic particles and encourage them to settle in their base. Helping to clean and purify water before release and contributing to the overall quality of water released from the SUDS system into groundwater or watercourse processes. Silt traps can be designed and fabricated to suit individual drainage requirements, based on the desired performance and projected flow rates of each individual development.
