Ridgidrain Plus

Ridgidrain Plus

As the first drainage system in the UK to have been granted HAPAS specification (Highways Authorities Product Approval Scheme) by the BBA, Ridgidrain represents the complete solution for all non-pressurised drainage applications, both above and below ground.

With an excellent strength to weight ratio and an inherent flexibility that allows it to withstand high traffic loads and settlement without cracking or collapsing, it has proved itself in highway, rail and airport projects as a more versatile and reliable alternative to concrete and clay pipes.

It can also be specified with perforations along the length of the pipewall, allowing it to act as a soak-away channel in SUDS systems. With the pipework laid horizontally in verges and fields, or vertically down bore holes, these perforations allow the controlled release of water into subsoil or soft SUDS structures. In some soil conditions, an additional permeable geotextile may be needed to prevent silt migration into the pipe body.

Key Benefits

Versatility - Available in a range of diameters from 150mm to 600mm.

Lightweight - Easier transport, storage and handling onsite.

Flexibility - Adapts to ground conditions to resist cracking and collapse under loads.

Robust - Structured wall design for high ring stiffness.

Ease of installation - Integral sockets in diameters 150 to 600mm. Fewer joints for faster laying of pipework.

Cost effective - Less time and labour onsite. Lower maintenance costs.
