Polystorm Xtra
Areas such as car parks, lorry parks, warehouse aprons and industrial estate roads pose a double dilemma for developers charged with managing surface water run-off. First, their extensive area inevitably results in high volumes of surface water in even relatively light rainfall. And second, their need to bear heavy and constant traffic loads means any sub-surface attenuation structure must be strong enough to cope. Polystorm Xtra answers both requirements with a loading of up to 80 tonnes per square metre. This allows for deeper burial - almost 4 metres in heavily trafficked areas - and, consequently, higher volumes of water capture and storage. At the same time, with each individual cell measuring just 0.21m in depth, Polystorm Xtra can be used to add strength even in shallower applications where ground conditions prevent deeper excavation. And, of course, it can be used as part of a hybrid Polystorm specification, adding support at the bottom of the tank system to increase available depth.
