Infilta
Infilta is a rectangular block paving system that allows large areas of pavement to comply with SUDS requirements without the need for drainage or source control structures.
It works in two ways:
Firstly, a 5mm all-round gap between each block means water can drain directly from the surface into a permeable tank or aggregate layer. This mechanism dramatically reduces standing water and run-off by allowing rainfall to infiltrate SUDS structures by the most direct route.
Secondly, each block is formed from an open graded sub-base. This provides a void volume for the storage and slow release of surface water, further adding to Infilta's effectiveness.
Infilta forms a tough, durable surface for lightly trafficked areas and domestic driveways, and is available in 8 different colours and finishes to offer choice in domestic developments.
