Polypipe will showcase its impressive range of water management and carbon efficient solutions at this year’s Ecobuild show on the 20th – 22nd of March at the ExCel, London.
The award-winning company is hosting an exciting interactive stand (S2221) where visitors can learn more about the way its sustainable plastic piping systems enable the effective installation and performance of sustainable building technologies.
Polypipe’s experts will be on hand to demonstrate a wide range of products engineered to provide carbon efficient solutions in buildings. These include its brand new thermal duct insulation system, designed to save energy whilst significantly reducing installation time and labour costs, SAP Appendix Q listed heat recovery ventilation systems, and the market’s most comprehensive range of low energy, space-saving floor heating solutions, which have been designed to meet the requirements of both new build and RMI projects.
Alongside will be Polypipe’s enviable array of ‘water management products, including its unique range of SUDS solutions and its new rainwater harvesting system for commercial installations which provides a sustainable alternative to GRP tankage systems.
Products also on display at the show will include Polypipe’s market-leading above and below ground drainage, surface water drainage, sewerage and cable protection systems, modular cell solutions, water treatment applications, residential and commercial rainwater harvesting systems, large diameter pipes and bespoke fabrications. Plus there will be a chance to see Polypipe’s water distribution and plastic plumbing systems.
Paul Rice, Polypipe’s Business Development Director, said: “Helping customers to incorporate piping solutions which enable the effective use of sustainable building technologies, while remaining sympathetic to sector-specific requirements and the twin global challenges of carbon reduction and water management, is at the heart of what Polypipe provides.
“As leaders we are always looking for new and improved ways to support customers and by showcasing our building technologies in this way at Ecobuild, we are making it even easier to select the most appropriate solutions from our 20,000-strong product lines.”
Polypipe has continued to innovate within its range of water management solutions, which over the past decade have contributed towards solving the rapidly evolving demands within the management of water as a valuable resource.
An example of this being Polypipe’s new concept in rainwater storage systems – the Rainstream RXL – which will also feature on the Ecobuild stand. Manufactured from Polypipe’s proven Ridgistorm-XL large diameter pipe technology, the Rainstream RXL boasts all of the functionality of large scale GRP sub surface tanking, but can be installed without being pre-filled with water, and with a single-sized granular backfill rather than a concrete surround, for a cost-effective, efficient and environmentally friendly installation.
Ridgistorm-XL is also a vital component in Polypipe’s new large diameter air duct system, providing a flexible, sub-surface alternative to suspended ducting for ventilation in commercial building developments for both new build and RMI projects.
Paul Rice added: “These new solutions are the latest examples of our focused technical and development teams responding directly to sector-specific requirements, and we are delighted to launch them at Ecobuild. Polypipe invests heavily in innovation and is committed to providing bespoke design and unrivalled technical support which enable the effective installation and performance of sustainable building technology”.
