Terrain DB12
Offering a solution to the problem of noise and vibration in Soil and Waste pipework, Terrain Acoustic dB12 is an easy to install, triple layer pipe system. With specially
developed co-polymer polypropylene layers and acoustically engineered fittings that effectively dampen both airborne noise and sound transmitted through the building structure, it is especially well suited to large, multi-occupancy buildings such as apartment developments, student accommodation and hotels. Acoustic dB12 can be used in new developments and in refurbishment projects and offers flame retardant properties to B1 in compliance with DIN4102. It is highly resistant to impact, even at lower temperatures, and has demonstrated excellent resistance to corrosion across a wide range of chemical agents and temperatures.
SILERE systems provide a complete soundproofing solution, with noise levels reduced to just 6db at flow rates of 2 litres per second. Achieved through the use of
a homogenous, extra thick polypropylene pipe wall, with added minerals to provide further density and acoustic insulation. This makes Silere stacks extremely robust and resistant to corrosion - even against acids, oxidizing agents and inorganic reducers - and allows for working temperatures between 0 and 95 degrees centigrade and a pH range of 2 to 12. Acoustic performance is further
enhanced by a smooth internal bore that discourages build up of the deposits and encrustations that are often a significant source of noise and vibration.
