The Grade 1 listed facade of London’s St Pancras Railway Station has been refurbished with the help of bespoke rainwater and drainage pipes from Polypipe Terrain. The company has also supplied piping systems to an adjacent new building being created as part of the overall £100 million St Pancras Chambers project.
Over £90,000 of Terrain Drainage HDPE soil and waste products have been installed on this project, which has seen new apartment accommodation created behind the main facade of the original 1868.station building. Polypipe Terrain worked very closely with the various parties involved to design and fabricate a wide range of bespoke stack and fitting products. This helped reduce costs and also speed up the installation process.
The Terrain range allows specifiers and installers to create a bespoke above- and below-ground drainage solution for this type of complex project. It includes an extensive range of pipes, fittings and spares. Along with the option to specify bespoke units this provides designers and specifiers with maximum flexibility in the design process.
