Certification, Research and Development

Polypipe Civils has over the last few years invested in providing extensive laboratory facilities. We have 2 quality control laboratories which are in operation 24 hours a day to support our manufacturing process. We also have facilities for product development and testing.

The Berry & Hayward laboratory is based in Horncastle and is able to carry out physical testing of our products such as leak tightness and stiffness testing. This laboratory is independent of Polypipe Civils and is UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service) accredited. Tests include:

Leak Tightness

Stiffness

Creep Ratio

• BS EN 9967

Having a close relationship with the laboratory allows us to ensure our products performance is to the highest possible standards and our products can be tested to their limits. Polypipe Civils is able to undertake virtually all product testing and development processes at the UKAS laboratory, thus saving money and shortening the time in which a new product can be launched.
