Polypipe, the UK’s largest manufacturer of floor heating products, has responded to the growing need for user-friendly building technologies through the expansion of its market leading underfloor heating controls range.
Developed specifically to maximise comfort and offer ease of control for end users, the new range incorporates both dial and digital display thermostats that allow time control per room or per manifold as required , with all options available in either hardwired or RF (wireless) versions.
The new range now offers homeowners the ability to time control up to four different manifolds from one single hand held unit.
The range of programmable controls providing time and temperature control per room is also enhanced and simplified for both installers and end users.
Martin Dootson, marketing development manager at Polypipe Home Solutions comments: “Through continuously investing in new building technologies, we are able to bring to market a range of controls that offer superior technical advances over traditional room temperature controls.
“In addition, the RF (wireless) control units feature built in receivers, making these control solutions quicker, easier and less expensive for our customers to purchase and install.
The launch of the new underfloor controls follows on from changes in controls guidance, Part L of the Building Regulations coupled with a commitment to offer a broader product choice for Polypipe’s customers.

The launch of Polypipe’s new range of controls coincides with the release of an updated comprehensive guide, which aims to assist installation of the products and demonstrates all options in summary and by each manifold.
