Loughborough firms Polypipe and Lighthouse (UK) Ltd have joined forces to create an eye-catching charity car for next week’s Keyline Thunderball Rally in aid of the Prostate Cancer Charity.
Sign and print specialists Lighthouse (UK) designed the wrapping for Polypipe’s James Bond themed W reg BMW Z3, which shall set off on the four day mission to the Swiss Alps on June 28th.
Polypipe’s Steve Smith, key merchant account manager, and his co-driver Allan Wright will join more than 30 other teams covering in excess of 500 miles per day and camping at night to raise funds for the cause.
Sib Turner, Production Manager at Lighthouse UK said: “The Prostate Cancer Charity is such a worthwhile cause and when we heard about Polypipe’s fundraising adventure we were only too pleased to lend our support. We wish the team the best of luck on their journey and look forward to seeing photos of the charity car in the Swiss Alps.”
Emma Thompson, marketing communications manager at Polypipe, added: “We are ever so grateful to the Lighthouse team for their support. The car looks fantastic and we hope to be working with them in the near future on other projects. Thank you also to all of the companies who have sponsored us for this cause.”
Polypipe is donating the value of the car to the Prostate Cancer Charity following the rally, which has been organised by Keyline.
Polypipe would like to thank all of its supporters in this challenge, including Permavoid, AKG Polymers, Bromsgrove Cars, Viridor, Lighthouse (UK) Ltd and SLG Marketing.
